A one-of-a-kind yonami-inspired cup for tea, matcha, cacao or quiet rituals.

Inspired by the Japanese yonami and by the way water finds its way through the landscape.

This cup is made from a warm, light beige-brown clay and finished with a natural ash glaze. Its surface is full of texture, inviting your hands to explore it as you drink.

Running through the centre is a delicate line made with porcelain slip. It feels almost like a trace left behind by water — a river moving through dry land, a stream finding its way into the earth, or the first sign of rain.

Every cup tells a different story. The line is never exactly the same, the texture shifts, and the glaze moves in its own way through the fire. Each one becomes its own little landscape.

There is something emotional about holding this cup. A reminder that water always finds a way. That what looks dry or still can hold a hidden river underneath.

You also receive a beautiful Filled Cup card, created to gift an intention and a sacred ritual with your cup.

practicalities

The ceramics are fired at 1255°C, making them completely food-safe and waterproof. Which means they are dishwasher safe.

Each piece is made and turned by my hand, where every turn is a new dance. Therefore, your piece will be different from the one shown in the picture. They are all part of the same collection and visual voice, but I try to let every soul speak.

The cups are deeply textured and have a beautiful tactile, earthy feel.

The cup is signed.
