Holding Circle

A grounding cup for cacao, tea, coffee and other creative rituals.

This piece is made from a darker clay and finished with a soft white glaze. At its centre sits a hand-built circle — a small sculptural artwork that invites your fingers to find it as you hold the cup.

The circle becomes a place to return to. A grounding point between your hands, your body and your imagination.

I love this cup especially for cacao and water rituals: holding it close, feeling its texture, taking a slow sip and allowing yourself to land before creating. A little ritual to make space for whatever wants to emerge.

Each circle is shaped by hand and therefore carries its own subtle character. No two are exactly alike.

practicalities

The ceramics are fired at 1255°C, making them completely food-safe and waterproof. Which means they are dishwasher safe.

Each piece is made and turned by my hand, where every turn is a new dance. Therefore, your piece will be different from the one shown in the picture. They are all part of the same collection and visual voice, but I try to let every soul speak.

The cups have a tactile, textured surface and are beautiful to hold.
