enjoy an early bird price as long as the limited spots reserved for this purpose are available
During this workshop, we delve deep into the creative process of building with clay, allowing you to shape and bring your own designs to life. We will explore various feminine forms, and throughout the workshop, I will share my knowledge on achieving asymmetry in different ways. I will guide you on how to naturally expand clay to make soft female curves and bring clay together to form a narrow neck. Building large sculptural vases is an integral part of this workshop. Under my guidance, you will create a sculptural piece that will help you grasp the fundamentals of handbuilding. We will prepare clay, study pinching and coiling techniques, focus on the art of making coils or rollings—a skill in itself—attach coils, and explore different forms.
These techniques are a tribute to slowing down and wonderment, inviting everyone to engage in creation, regardless of experience. You are welcome whether you want to refine your handbuilding skills or work with clay for the first time offering a deep exploration into the art of creating woman vessels.

You do not need any experience to participate in these workshops. For those with some or a lot of experience, they can be a valuable addition to your practice, allowing you to work from intuition and connect with natural elements. Provide yourself with the space to embrace imperfections and release the pursuit of perfection in your work. Feeling, deep deep feeling and arriving in the present moment are the common thread in all of our workshops.
After the workshop, your pieces will be bisque fired. For glazing you can book a monthly glaze class to experience also this creative part that is truly one of the most magical practices of ceramics and glaze your pieces yourself with a natural homemade glaze. It's also possible that we glaze your pieces. 3 kg clay is included in this workshop to be fired and glazed by us or when you book a glazing workshop. If you want to make more, it's definitely possible. Price for firing and glazing will be determined by how much extra you want to make.
However, be aware that 4 kg is a substantial amount to work with, ensuring you'll have enough material for experimentation.
